This took ages as it was a strong breeze, but it's just a good contrasting combination of Miscanthus and Bidens heterophylla.
I do like a nice sky. As it is a prairie, it made sense to make the sky look as big a part of the scene as possible.

A bank holiday trip to Norfolk turned out really well when the light was there and so was the colour.

I had packed up for the day at Lexham Hall and saw the light on a beech wood so drove round to it and found this. It was the pink reflecting in ornamental canal which did it for me.
Chionodoxas really make this planting at Cambridge Botanic look like a paint box.
Drove a very long way, very early but the thrill I felt at being there and seeing this picture in the monitor made it all worthwhile for me.
